April Fun

So far this month we have had alot of fun. The nice weather has helped out alot. This past weekend we had a trailer of dirt for a project Chad was working on around the yard. Well, the rain came thru and turned it to mud. I convinced Keegan to put on her swimsuit and go play in it. She was a little hesitant at first, but then had a ball. She then proceeded to play in the mud puddles. I had to spray her down with the hose when she was finished. She loved it.

Then a couple weekends ago, both my sisters and Anet's boyfriend Mark came over for a cookout. Mark cooked most of the food and it was great. Chad and Mark had their paintball guns out and decided to give Kathy's car a new paintjob:)

Keegan also had her first real sleepover with her best friend Sophia. She asked Keegan to stay at her house, Keegan wanted Sophia to stay at our house first. The girls had a blast. I did not have to entertain them at all, which was kinda weird, since I always have to find things for Keegan to do. In the morning I got brave and took them to Sam's and Meijer. They were so good. This past weekend, Sophia asked Keegan to stay at her house. Keegan chickened out, but we hang out over there til 10:30ish. I think she might have done it had she not stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's the night before.

Also, last Friday Chad and I went to Brew and View with Dan and Ang and a couple of their friends. It was a good time. We hadn't been out in a while.

Spring School Photo

This is the spring school photo Keegan had done. I wasn't planning on buying the pics until I saw how great it turned out. I can't believe my baby is getting so big!

Tonight, Keegan is having her first friend sleepover. Sophia is gonna stay the night. She asked Keegan to stay at her house, but Keegan didn't want to, she was nervous. So we are gonna start with Sophia staying here and next time Keegan can stay with Sophia. I think I am crazy, two 4 year olds!

April 2009

Needless to say, we have been very busy so I am gonna cram it all in. It all started with a trip to the park on a nice day.

Next, during Spring Break we went to the Hands on Museum in Ann Arbor with the Mitchell's. The kids had a blast. We went to Red Robin for lunch, where the kids were goofing off. They were really goofy all day. We ended the day over to their house just hanging out. The kids were whipped.

We saw the Easter Bunny at the egg hunt at Ella Sharp Park. We ran into Kelley and Ashlyn there and the Mitchell's. Keegan did a good job of finding the eggs. They weren't hidden all that well.

This is Keegan snoozing away on Easter morning. She didn't even want to finder her basket until she had her cup of milk:)

The Easter Bunny brought Keegan a Nintendo DS, which she has played with ever since.

We went to Church then breakfast. Spent the afternoon at Chad's parents house, then came home and had dessert with my parents and sisters. We had a busy fun day. We settled in watching a movie, Bedtime Stories, which is a great movie.

Dollar Night @ Allskate

Last night I took Keegan to Allskate to meet Nikki and the kids. It was dollar night and the place was packed. We had fun. Roller skating seemed to be harder for Keegan than ice skating was, but she got the hang of it. She basically walked with her skates on. She skated until her feet hurt so bad she could barely move:(
