Visit it Medplus

So, Keegan has had a cold over the past week. It was getting better and she was fine until about 5:30 Friday night. Chad was home with her and I was at work and she started screaming and grabbing her ear saying it hurt. She fell asleep about 5 minutes before I got home from work and then woke up screaming around 6:45. We packed her up and headed to Medplus in Brooklyn. She saw the doctor and found out that she had a double ear infection. We had no idea, it just hit that fast. We got an antibiotic and got home. Once we got home she was bouncing off the walls like nothing was wrong. She slept all night and has not complained once about it since.
Saturday night we were supposed to go to the Pistons game. I got 4 tickets from a board that I am on for Christmas. The snow was coming down so hard and the roads were not in good shape at all, so we decided it would not be a good idea to go all the way to Detroit. We were gonna take Keegan so we told her would take her to a movie and to dinner of her choice instead. We explained to her that it was dangerous to drive in the snow. We went to see Hotel For Dogs. Cute movie! Then she picked Applebees for dinner. We had alot of fun.
Now I have her cold. I HATE having a runny nose. It sucks!
Chad has been busy working on our remodeling project. We are turning our old laundry room into a half bath, in the kitchen we are painting, putting in new tile, crown molding, trim, light fixtures, etc. Everything but new countertops. We will do that sometime in the near future. Tomorrow I am off of work, I will beging painting:)

Snowy Weekend

Not much has been going on around here lately. Just a bunch of snow this weekend, which led to Chad doing some plowing Saturday and Sunday. We did get out to the Hunt Club for dinner Friday night, and it was great. I can't tell you the last time we were there. Saturday was work and just hanging out around the house. Today we escaped to Sam's, Target, and Meijer. It was nice to get out of the house. I found Keegan a really cute jacket at TJ Max. I hated her old one. The new one is a cute brown, pink, and white peacoat. It looks much better on her. Other than that, I think she is coming down with a little cold, again, preschool and daycare, germy kids!

Happy New Year

This year Chad and I went out with everyone for New Year's. We have not been out in years. We started at Dan and Ang's with drinks and then took a cab ride downtown to the Michigan Theatre to the Saving Abel Concert. We ended up getting there pretty late, I wish we would have got there earlier to see some of the other bands play. It was alot of fun though.

Once we got back to Dan and Ang's we tore up the party sub that we had before the concert. We hung out for a while, then finally crashed in a spare bedroom sometime between 3:30 and 4:00. Chad and I woke up around 7:30 am and drove home. Josh and Val were already gone and the rest of them were still sleeping. I was so tired New Year's Day. But I had alot of fun. It was a really fun group to bring in the new year with.
